MUSLIM WOMEN IN THE PUBLIC SQUARE
Saturday, March 25, 2006
12:30-3:30pm
A panel discussion by women about women’s self-expression as spiritual, social, and professional beings.
Our distinguished panelists will explore women’s historical and contemporary roles as active and equal contributors (as their male counterparts)
to developing a cohesive and compelling civil society in the areas of jurisprudence, religion, politics, and civic affairs. The conference will also
explore the obstacles and challenges to full and fulfilling participation by women in the “public square.”
