COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT:
When Civilians Become Targets of War
The forum will address international law including UN resolutions dealing with the protection of civilians,
humanitarian law, and war crimes, focusing on the current situation in Lebanon and drawing analysis from other similar
conflicts. We will also have an eye-witness account from an American student who
was evacuated one week after the war started in Lebanon.
Guests will include activists and representatives from human rights and humanitarian organizations.
